How will I know when baby is ready for Toddler foods?

Your baby is probably ready for Nature’s Goodness® Toddler Cuisine® foods if she is:
  • trying to feed herself
  • walking at least while holding your hand
  • showing signs of assertiveness (very easy to identify!)

What about introducing real table foods?

If you’re noticing that baby has started reaching for the food on your plate, it’s usually a sign that the transition to table food can begin. The most important aspect of introducing “real” or table foods to baby’s diet is to modify the texture of the food to meet her needs, and to offer the food before any salt or other spices have been added. Finely cut bits of chicken, soft rice, and plain, cooked pasta are all excellent first table foods.

Your On-The-Go Toddler

Instead of getting stuck on-the-go with a choice of French fries, a hot dog or candy to fuel your toddler, pack easy, healthy meal and snack options so your child can eat right when you are out and about.

The Nature’s Goodness® Toddler Cuisine® line is super-portable and nutritious. Plus, the portion size is just right. Just toss a Toddler Cuisine® Pick-upables or Spoonables in your bag and dash out knowing you can feed your toddler well.

Some other toddler friendly foods that travel well, don’t make a huge mess, and really deliver on nutrition for toddlers (one year or older) include:
  • Individual boxes of whole grain cereal
  • Pre-sliced apple
  • String Cheese
  • Nature’s Goodness® juices
  • Yogurt drinks

Toddler Feeding Tips

This is a fun and interesting feeding stage for your toddler. You'll find Nature’s Goodness® Toddler Cuisine® products to be appetizing and convenient.

You can continue to serve Nature’s Goodness® From About 6 Months juices but take care to limit intake at this stage to 4-6 ounces per day to keep baby's diet balanced.Serve in a cup because the natural sugars in juices can promote tooth decay, and a bottle with nipple tends to increase that risk.
